What is your cancellation policy?
Refund of deposit minus $50 cancellation fee. Deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of your booking. When cancelled within 7 days or in case of a ‘no show’ the total booking price will be charged to your credit card. Date changes can be made up to 30 days prior to your stay.
Are pets allowed?
We love pets but due to our insurance policy and farm environment, pets are not allowed onsite.
Is there WIFI?
Yes. WiFi is accessible at The Lodge only. You will be provided a WiFi code upon check-in. There is no television or telephones in our bubble accommodations.
When is check-in and check-out?
Our check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. and our check-out time is before 11:00 a.m.
Is Maplebrook Retreat family friendly?
Absolutely! We encourage parents to foster the wonder of nature within their kids. We have a selection of 4 colored bubbles for families (#5, #6, #7 and #8). We do not have a structured playground (yet) or scheduled kids activities, however we invite children to participate in the many events onsite with the supervision of their parents.
Can I park next to my bubble?
To keep our natural setting we've kept vehicles away from the bubble accommodations and public spaces. This helps keep both noise and light pollution from disrupting our ambiance. Maplebrook Retreat does have small wagons to asset our guests to their bubbles.
Where are the bathrooms located?
All the bathrooms are located in the Lodge, less than 1 minute walk from the bubbles. They are fully equipped with a shower, a sink and a toilet. Our 4 deluxe bubbles have their own private bathrooms, while our 4 standard bubbles share 2 bathrooms.
Can I privatize the entire site?
Yes! You can privatize the 8 bubble accommodations including the restaurant room for your family reunion (we do not accept weddings or parties at the moment). We can accommodate up to 28 people. We have 8 queen beds, 4 sofa-beds and 4 extra beds.
Is the Retreat open to the public?
To best serve our natural surroundings and staying guests, our retreat is not open to the public. This allows us to preserve our environment and establish a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. We will allow a reasonable number of visitors to join our guests at the Lodge, we just request these guests check-in at the front and do not exceed two individuals per staying host.
Is there a hot tub?
The retreat has an outdoor Spa with a hot tub and a sauna for our guests to enjoy. There is no extra charge for using it, however it is required that individuals/groups reserve their hot tub time. Should you wish to book the hot tub, you can do so when you make your reservation or anytime before or during your stay by calling (506) 351-5231. You may book the Spa in 1 hour intervals with the option to book longer or multiple time slots if available. The Spa is open from 7am to midnight each day.
Do I need to bring anything? What are the bubbles equipped with?
Bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) are all provided as are towels and bathrobes. Note: our towels are not to be used as a beach towel, please provide your own.
Do you offer 1 night stay?
To make the most of the experience, we accept reservations of a minimum of 2 nights. However, we do allow a single night's reservation in low season. You can book directly online or by phone.
How much does it cost for one night in a bubble? How many people can stay?
We have two types of bubbles on site: one bedroom and two bedrooms. We have four Standard bubbles with one bedroom, for couples only (2 people), which cost $179 a night plus taxes. We also have four Deluxe bubbles with two bedrooms (2 adults and up to 3 kids) which cost $249 a night plus taxes.
What's the temperature inside the bubble?
The temperature in the bubble varies according to the outside temperature. For colder nights, the bubble is equipped with a heater, a heated mattress and heated blankets. In summer, the bubble doesn't get too warm because it's nestled in the forest, surrounded by trees and protected from the direct sun.
